Youth Development

Upon admission, each student is assigned to a living unit on our secure Youth Development campus. Each student is given time to adjust to the program, learn and implement effective coping strategies tailored to their particular needs, and become a self-supervised individual. When youth have demonstrated a basic mastery of behavior through cooperation and participation, they will be considered eligible for advancement to our Life Skills campus, where they will discover additional reward and opportunity.

Each student’s time needed on our Youth Development campus will vary depending on their level of cooperation and their individual progress toward personal behavior management. A variety of activities and opportunities are present for students to take part in on the Youth Development campus,  including a pool, gymnasium, and well-stocked cafeteria. Activities and contests are held weekly, which are modeled around goals related to behavior management.

All students residing on our Youth Development campus will have the opportunity to earn funds daily based on that day’s level of cooperation. These funds may be used at the student’s discretion at the Youth Development store—upon a student’s advancement to the next level of the program, the Life Skills campus, they will find a larger store and access to additional products as a reward.

All students residing on the Youth Development campus are under 24-hr supervision by trained team members.
